The £10m multi-storey student accommodation project in Liverpool consists of 261 student rooms, comprising of 225 flats of 4-6 en-suite rooms.
This project follows on from the successful completion of the £40m, Bagot Street I in Birmingham, which consisted of two blocks with 119 multiple bedroom student flats.
Cassie Forshaw, group marketing manager for Iliad, said: “I am delighted for VINCI Construction UK to be appointed as preferred contractor, to build the East Village phase II for Iliad and this follows on from the successful partnership on Bagot Street I.
“The tender process was highly competitive, attracting a lot of interest from contractors with a very high standard of submissions.
Chris Hamer, managing director of Vinci’s northern building, said: “Just like the Bagot Street contract we built for Iliad, we will bring our expertise and skills along with our local knowledge of Liverpool to construct a high quality student accommodation block.”
