Balfour will demolish an existing seven storey building in Bishop’s Square to make way for the mixed use project.
The new structure will incorporate the existing basement retaining walls, the tops of which will be trimmed down and a new capping beam cast on the top.
The superstructure will consist of flat floor slabs at ground with post-tensioned RC floors above from levels one to six.
Level six is constructed from a steel frame sitting on a post tensioned RC floor slab. Set-back floors at levels five and six receive fully glazed cladding.
