The new 90 metre span bridges across the River Don will also include realignment work to a 2.5km stretch of approach road.
The council said the “two bridge structures will be constructed to cross the River Don and the Mill Lade, both will be free spanning structures, with no piers or any part of the structure within the watercourses, the River Don crossing will have a 90 m span.”
Up to eight contractors will be invited to bid for the project.
