Work will involve building twin towers of 45 and 60 stories including a 160-room, five-star Wanda hotel.

One construction source said: “This is a big one to win and all the major players are now gearing-up to have a crack at it.

“I’m sure you’ll see big names like Laing O’Rourke, Carillion, Brookfield, Lend Lease and Sir Robert McAlpine on the lists.”
