The developer said the proceeds will be used to fund construction of the £1.2bn Shell Centre scheme in central London and its 58-storey Newfoundland residential tower on the wharf.
Today it exchanged contracts for 50 Bank Street, an 11-storey, 216,000 sq ft building at Canary Wharf, with Crosby Investment Holdings Inc.
Some of the proceeds will also go towards funding the first building stages of the 4.9m sq ft Wood Wharf mixed use development to the east of the estate, which presently has outline consent.
