Yorkshire-based Caddick Group is part of a joint venture behind the £65m project to build the 40-storey tower at Princes Dock to the north of the city.
Peel is expected to announce details of the scheme at the MIPIM property show in Cannes tomorrow.
It is also understood the North West property giant will also unveil other planned projects for the ambitious 60 hectares waterfront regeneration scheme.
These are likely to include more residential towers, offices and an hotel.
The 325-apartment tower will be delivered by Moda Living, a joint venture between Caddick and Harrogate’s Generate Land, set up to build a rental property portfolio.
Turner and Townsend is on board as project manager and cost consultant with Tate Consulting covering M&E and Roscoe supplying structural engineering design.
