In November, the firm picked up enabling works for the central section of HS2 as part of the Fusion JV with partners BAM Nuttall and Ferrovial Agroman, according to information specialist Glenigan.
Its fit-out arm Overbury also secured a £57m fit-out contract for Deloitte at New St Square in central London, which has just started on site as part of a wider haul of 22 projects during the month.
Over the last 12 months a run of over 310 contract wins reveals the firm’s hit rate has risen on smaller jobs helping to extend Morgan Sindall Group’s lead at the top of the annualised contracts league table.
BAM and Laing O’Rourke are vying neck and neck for second place over £300m down from Morgan Sindall with one month to go before 2016 closes.
Among the other big wins in November Carillion and KBR take a share of a £135.9m military base redevelopment in Salisbury.
