The firm managed to fend off Morrison Construction, Robertson and Graham Construction with a £37m price for the research building.
When completed in 2019 the new building will form part of the University’s new Institute for Regeneration and Repair, which will be home to over 500 researchers.
Designed by architect Stantec, the 4-storey centre will offer scientists and students access to seminar and exhibition spaces, a café and courtyard as well as a dedicated in lab double-height ‘collaboration zone’.
