Among the other big contracts secured last month Multiplex has a £80m job to build 345 flats on Trafalgar Way in London for Essential Land.
Also in London, Wates bagged an £80m retail and office scheme at Wellington Place for developer MEPC.
While in Manchester Carillion, despite its financial problems, signed off a £73m student halls of residence scheme for the University of Manchester.
