Police confirmed that Michaela Boor, 29, died in hospital on Thursday morning following the accident at a Higgins Homes site on Monday.

Her father Matthew Boor works for Hertfordshire based brickwork and blockwork specialist Maytrix Construction as a bricklayer.

Maytrix has set up a JustGiving fund raising page in a bid to raise £20,000 for the family.

The firm said: “Matthew’s work colleagues have asked us to start this page to help him and his family at this difficult time.

“Our thoughts are with Matthew and his family at this time. Any donations to assist them would be gratefully received.”
