Managing director Keith Birch told the Daily Post: “Gallagher Construction have been trading for over 25 years. It’s a very sad day.
“Due to the current economic climate, we have had to close.
“We need to thank our hardworking staff and loyal clients.”
One worker said: “The news came completely out of the blue. That’s it, everyone gone.”
The Kinmel Bay based contractor was set up in 1993.
Last full accounts available at Companies House for the year to October 2016 show the firm made a pre-tax profit of £46,000 from turnover of £8.25m.
