The firm topped the October contracts league after securing Deutsche Bank’s new HQ project above Moorgate Crossrail station and the next major rebuild phase of Broadgate.
Both 21 Moorfields for Land Securities and 1-2 Broadgate for Blue Button are valued by information specialist Glenigan at around £250m each.

On the strength of these major project wins McAlpine jumped from eleventh position to fifth in the annualised contracts league.
Kier continues to lead the pack in the rolling 12-month league table, chased by Wates and Galliford Try with Willmott Dixon rising to fourth place for the first time this year.

Among the other big contract wins in a busy month of orders, Lendlease secured a £300m order for the Bishopsgate Leadenhall project in the Square Mile.
Still in London Mace was confirmed main contractor on £215m Marshgate I scheme for University College London at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
Social housing specialist Hill Partnerships picked up four contracts from Rushmoor Borough Council for regeneration schemes in Aldershot and Farnborough worth a total of £275m.
Laing O’Rourke was appointed to finish Carillion’s stalled Royal Liverpool Hospital in a deal estimated to be worth £250m.
Regional contractor GMI scooped the £125m Follingsby Max Logistic & Distribution Centre in Gateshead, while McLaren Construction has netted the £120m Leicester City Training ground project.
