According to information specialist Glenigan, Kier bagged 27 contracts during the month, worth an estimated £600m.
The largest was a £300m luxury flats scheme in London for developer Concord. Kier will redevelop the former car park site in Marylebone into 79 flats and 11 shops.
The big project win at Moxton Street extended Kier’s lead in the annualised contracts league, ahead of Wates and Morgan Sindall.

Among the other major orders in November, Lendlease secured a £350m contract for the 2022 Commonwealth Games development in Birmingham.
Engineering contractor Burmeister & Wain won a £180m contract for waste to energy plant at Hooton Park for Aviva & Cogen.

McLaren secured the £120m mixed-use redevelopment of the iconic Amex House project in Brighton for First Base while John Sisk was confirmed as major contractor on £183m 2one2 Broad Street in Birmingham for Moda.
