Gill left his former role at Bouygues late last year.
He had spent 22 years at Bouygues and was London and south east managing director at the time of his departure.
Bouygues said he had held “a number of pivotal trusted roles and his track record has been exemplary.”
Gill’s appintment will further strengthen McLaren’s London leadership team and his initial focus will be on establishing new customer relationships, delivering new opportunities and supporting McLaren’s growth in the public sector.

“McLaren was instinctively the right fit for me as it is a dynamic business with an entrepreneurial approach.
“The recent success in securing a position on the Be First framework exemplifies the company’s expansion and positioning.”
