Mansell will build 63 homes for the elderly, both for rent and shared ownership, and surrounding communal areas.

The Lench’s Trust is dedicated to providing care and housing for older people in Birmingham. Eventually the new retirement village will provide 97 apartments accommodating 120 residents. Although the residents will live independently, they will have access to 24 hour care facilities as and when needed, plus comprehensive communal facilities.

Work has recently begun on site and is due to complete in April 2011.
