Earlier this month, the university submitted a detailed planning application for a new campus library, a School of Architecture and Construction and other facilities such as TV studios and editing suites.

This will allow more of the university’s activities to be based in Greenwich, alongside its main campus in the Old Royal Naval College.

Greenwich Village market closed in 2009 to make way for the development.
