Construction works will commence immediately to deliver a reception block which will also become the new location for Preston College’s Visual and Performing Arts Students.

Frank Joyce, Area Director, Miller Construction, said: “The new facility will become a focal point for students and visitors to the College. ”

Miller Construction will carry out the works during the College term time and will be phased and timed in conjunction with the current curriculum to minimise any disruption.

Lis Smith, Principal and Chief Executive, Preston College said: “The signing of the contract marks a significant milestone in not only the delivery of such a fantastic new state of the art facility but helps drive the college forward in its aspiration to become outstanding.

“This new facility will not only enhance and build upon the existing campus, but will bring a new focal point to the college which will benefit both existing and future learners, including the wider community.”
