The UK’s largest practice told the Enquirer: “Following the suspension of a major healthcare project and large scale cuts in public sector work, BDP’s studios have begun a process of streamlining which could affect up to 10% to 15% of staff mainly in London, Winchester and Sheffield.”
The cuts could mean more than 100 staff lose their jobs among BDP’s 900 strong workforce.
Peter Drummond, Chief Executive of BDP, said: “It continues to be a challenging time for the industry and we are working hard to continue to win work in the UK and internationally.”
Work on the Brighton hospital job has been put on hold by Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS trust until a planning application is approved.
