The builder, aged in his 60s, was working on a building at the Princesshay Shopping Centre when he fell on Wednesday night.

Police are not treating the death of the man, from south Wales, as suspicious.

The development is owned by Land Securities.

A spokesperson said: “Our thoughts and sympathy is with his family at this time and we are committed to working with the authorities and the contractor in investigating this incident.”
