Sixty staff at the Newcastle specialist contractor have been laid off by administrators from Tait Walker Advisory Services.
The firm, established in 1985, was involved in fitting out the Sage centre in Newcastle and has worked for main contractors including Bam, GB Building Solutions and Laing O’Rourke
Administrator Gordon Goldie said that he aimed to novate several of the £3m turnover firm’s ongoing contracts.
Goldie said: “The firm had been successful for a number of years, but an accumulation of issues eventually led to its unfortunate demise.
“We will attempt to either assign or novate a number of the current contracts if we are able to find any other construction business that is willing to take them on.”
