Smith was managing director of the South and Interiors business unit of Galliford Try’s Building South region.

He was a key part of the team responsible for growing the division from a turnover of £158m in 2006 to £235m in 2011 by delivering new build construction and fit out projects over a broad range of sectors in the London and South East regions.
