HE Simm’s student accommodation division has secured the contracts to deliver full mechanical,electrical and plumbing services on schemes in London, Leeds, Liverpool and Oxford.
In London, HE Simm will deliver the MEP works for Downing Construction at Portal Way in North Acton where accommodation includes 80,000sq ft and 184 studio rooms. Work starts on site in October 2012.
Ocon Construction has appointed HE Simm at its landmark student accommodation development at the University Of Liverpool.
The scheme will provide 1,259 student bedrooms in three blocks and is set for completion in July 2014.
Pochin Construction has appointed Simm to undertake the MEP works involved in the re-modeling of the Leodis 3 student accommodation in Leeds.
The 311-room scheme will be completed by August 2013 and includes the refurbishment and renewing of mechanical, electrical and public health services including drainage, power, and lighting.
HE Simm has also been appointed by Multibuild to deliver the MEP specification on a 112-bedroom student accommodation scheme at Cowley Road, Oxford where work will begin in October.
