Planning permission has gone in for the Boulevard Academy with BAM as preferred bidder.
A spokesman for the Boulevard Academy Trust told the Hull Daily Mail: “We are pleased to be working with BAM in developing our aspirations for the building.
“Our aim is that the design reflects both the heritage of the site and the architecture in the area and that overall the building is viewed as an enhancement to the local area and local community.”
It is hoped the 600-pupil secondary school will open it doors for the 2014 academic year.
