The project will involve the design and construction of a new building to accommodate 840 Key Stage Three students.
Morgan Sindall and its design partners, DLA Architecture, won the contract to design and construct the building after an extensive eight month consultation with the school and the London Borough of Redbridge.
The new building is aiming for a BREEAM Excellent rating and includes several sustainable features such as rainwater harvesting, photovoltaic cells, and a combined heat and power plant.
Bob Ensch, area director for Morgan Sindall, said: “We have enjoyed an extensive consultation with the school and the council during the procurement process and are looking forward to working closely with them, and our design partners DLA Architecture, to deliver this exciting project.”
