The depot includes an indoor work at height training centre in response to growing demand for good quality health and safety training for courses from the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and the Prefabricated Access Suppliers and Manufacturers Association (PASMA).
Training will run daily, and be delivered by the company’s onsite specialists in the dedicated 5,000 sq ft, 12.5 metre high building.
Gordon Leicester, Managing Director of Facelift said: “We’re delighted to be opening this new depot in Liverpool, and we’ve already started working with several local clients.
“Our expertise, continual re-investment in the quality of our equipment and reputation for delivering a first-class service means we’ve quickly become very successful in every area of the country we operate in, and we expect Liverpool to be a similar story.
“Even more exciting is the launch of our indoor training school. The best businesses know that health and safety training isn’t optional, it should be at the core of any strategy.
“Good training doesn’t just ensure your employees all make it home at the end of the day; it can also improve your company’s productivity and improve the confidence of all staff involved in work at height activity.”
Ewan Smith, manager of Facelift’s Kirkby depot, added: “Safety is paramount when working at height, so being able to offer a ‘one stop shop’ for both health and safety training, and equipment hire is already proving very popular with our customers.
“We’ve had enquiries from as far afield as Scotland, and from everyone from construction contractors to tree surgeons.”
