The line up of big developers includes Willmott Dixon, which is increasingly looking to develop new homes under its present business strategy.
The firms on the council’s developer panel will now compete for five housing estate renewal schemes in the borough that will deliver up to 1,000 new homes.
These are planned at the council’s four target housing renewal areas at Tollgate Gardens, Church Street, Westbourne Green and Ebury Bridge.
