The historic shake-up in ownership at the North West contractor will see Christopher Seddon’s family take control  of Seddon Construction and Seddon Homes.

Seddon Property Services, which will rebrand to Novus Property Solutions, and Seddon Estates is now owned and led by John Seddon’s family.

Seddon Engineering Holdings will be owned and led by John’s brother George Seddon’s family.

Group chairman Rod Sellers said: “This is a natural evolution for the 115-year-old Seddon family business spanning five generations, which will secure the long-term future of the businesses.

“We do not expect there to be any redundancies in the operating companies as a result of this reorganisation.

“This is an exciting development, which will enable delivery of the family goal of creating businesses that benefit employees, clients and stakeholders for many years to come.”
