The water company is looking for up to four partners to deliver its AMP6 capital works programme, which will be divided up into two separate lots covering design and build works and traditional new infrastructure.
It estimates total spend to be between £600m and £1.1bn depending on Ofwat’s determination of its planned improvement programme.
Overall, the water company aims to invest around £3bn between 2015 and 2020, including refurbishment and upgrade work.
Firms interested in the design and build element will need to turnover more than £165m a year, while infrastructure companies will need to operate abover the £120m turnover threshold.
