Boot has organised a ‘Meet the Buyer’ next week with the National Federation of Builders.

The event is free to attend and will take place on Friday September 27 from 7.30am to 12 noon at Leeds College of Building.

Neil Watson, Supply Chain Manager for Henry Boot said: “The aim is to increase our supply chain to assist in the delivery of future projects.

“We are committed to keeping work local which is why we’re particularly interested in speaking with companies based in Yorkshire, Humber and the North East that can supply a direct workforce.

“If the event is a success, we will roll out similar events in the North West and East Midlands region.”

John Millichap from the NFB said: “There will be opportunities available for all sectors of the construction industry, so, for companies that are interested in working on high profile contracts in their local area, this is an ideal opportunity to promote their business to one of the region’s major contractors and network with other contractors from the local area.”
