Demolition specialist Masterton is clearing the St. Peter’s Waterside for the West Northamptonshire Development Corporation.

Masterton will hand the site back to the corporation in December.

The corporation hopes to name a developer for the site early in the New Year.

The scope of the current works includes the demolition of residential properties on Northampton’s Tanner Street alongside the demolition of commercial buildings across a 2-hectare site.

Peter Mawson, Chief Executive at WNDC said:  “The demolition work is a symbolic moment for the regeneration of the town, and will pave the way for a flagship office development.”
