The Newcastle-based national hirer has taken delivery of 107 machines with lift heights ranging from 7 to 17m.

Developed to meet the EU Stage IIIB/US Tier 4 Interim emissions standards, the JCB Ecomax Tier 4i engine used on the Nixon Hire fleet of JCB Loadalls has no requirement for costly diesel particulate filters or for exhaust after treatment fluids, resulting in low cost, efficient operation for customers.

The result is up to 7% improved fuel economy and 15% more torque.
