Records at Companies House show that Sean Nutley became a director of asbestos removal specialist Ark Environmental (UK) last week.
His appointment came as the three existing directors of the company all had their directorships terminated.
The registered office of Ark has also changed from the Midlands to Surrey
Silverdell has delisted from the AIM market following months of financial turmoil.
Subsidiary EDS has also filed a Notice of Intent to appoint an administrator.
Suppliers are chasing EDS for cash while redundancies are being made across the business.
The Enquirer understands that plant hirers were removing their kit from EDS sites last week.
One former worker said: “I am disgusted with what has happened to what was once a great company.
“Everyone from my office has been made redundant but those who made all the bad decisions are still there.”
No-one from Silverdell or Ark was available for comment despite repeated attempts by the Enquirer.
