Willmott Dixon came second in the January rankings after picking up 21 projects, the largest an £80m project for A2Dominion for ph1 of the ECO Town Exemplar at Bicester.
Among the other big jobs Laing O’Rourke was confirmed as main contractor on the £180m Clarges Estate mixed development at Mayfair in London for British Land.
ISG scooped the biggest London fit-out job for at least 12 months beating Mace’s team to the £125m fit-out of part of the Broadgate complex for UBS.
Skanska netted an £85m office scheme at Shoe Lane in London, making it a hat-trick of major Land Securities jobs in the capital.
Among the other big building jobs secured at the the start of the year, Sisk checked in with a £60m hotel scheme for joint clients Helical Bar & Crosstree at Old St, Morgan Sindall took the MoD’s Stafford accommodation build and B&K rung up a £61.4m retail and leisure scheme in central Newport for the city council.
