Kier will deliver Anglian’s Integrated Metering and Developer Services (IMDS) contract with Clancy Docwra.
The deal is worth up to £12m a year and will be formally awarded in the summer as both firms work on initiative development, business planning and work allocation over the next three months.
Kier has also been selected as one of three contractors to deliver Anglian Water’s Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS).
The contract is worth £70m over five years, with an extension of a possible ten years, and will start in April 2015.
The IOS contract works will include appraisal and feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed design, construction and installation of components.
It will also cover asset refurbishment, demolition, dismantling and decommissioning, as well as maintenance of the corporate asset and cost data for both water and water recycling assets.
The announcements came alongside a positive trading statement which confirmed a construction order book order book at approximately £2.6bn.
The figure represents all of the forecast revenue for the year to 30 June 2014 and more than 80% of the forecast revenue for the year to 30 June 2015.
