Pat Flannery, Director of Flannery Plant Hire, said: “With the construction industry growing, we have experienced a significant demand for environmentally friendly plant equipment from customers who are looking to reduce their emissions.
“To meet this demand we continued our investment in premium equipment, following the purchased of specialised Cat 308D SB RT mini excavators in 2013.”
“A high number of our customers are working on projects where emission standards are essential, such as the Crossrail Project in London.
“These new machines will allow Flannery Plant Hire and our customers to play a bigger role in its construction.”
Adding to its 1,600 strong plant hire fleet, the London hirer is now in a prime position to provide Cat equipment for its customers working within the London low emission zone.
Matt Revell, Finning Key Account Manager, said: “Once again, Flannery Plant Hire has seen the value in investing in machinery, such as the Cat 320EL, which offers fuel consumption savings of up to 22%, to help customers achieve their emissions.”
