Paddam joined Morgan Sindall from Carillion, where he was managing director of highways projects, in 2007.

Recently-appointed boss of civil engineering Nick Fletcher (below) has taken over leading the infrastructure business with immediate effect.

He joined Morgan Sindall from Laing O’Rourke only a few months ago after seven years as operations director for UK infrastructure at the private contractor, where he was held in high regard.

A Morgan Sindall spokesman said: Jag Paddam, Managing Director of Infrastructure, has tendered his resignation from Morgan Sindall.

“Nick Fletcher, Managing Director of Civil Engineering, has taken immediate leadership of the Infrastructure business as part of his wider responsibilities.”
