Scarrott will head-up the East and West Midlands teams following his 18-month drive as operations director to raise efficiency across the region.

During his time at Wate, the Midlands office has picked up the £20m expansion of intu Potteries in Stoke-on-Trent and won a place on Scape’s East Midlands Property Alliance frameworks.

Scarrott said: “It has been an exceptional year for Wates in the Midlands, which has seen us strengthen our position in our core markets while growing into the emerging commercial and industrial sectors.”
