Lakesmere subsidiary McMullen has landed the package from main contractor Wates.

McMullen will start on site next July and the firm’s contract includes the scheme’s striking sloped glazed entrance which will link the two main blocks to create an atrium and winter garden.

McMullen’s package of works also includes the curtain walling elements to the external side walls and internal walls of the atrium.

Central Square is set for completion in Spring 2016.
