The event is organised by the UK Contractors Group and will take place on March 6 and 7.

Open Doors gives young people, their parents and local communities an opportunity to visit sites and see what happens on a modern construction project.

Organisers believe it is a great chance for young people in particular to learn more about the range of careers the industry has to offer.

The last Open Doors Weekend saw almost 100 sites take part with over 3,000 visitors.
