The borough is planning a four-year construction programme with framework firms bidding for schemes on a two-stage tender basis.
Plans have already been drawn up for the first £50m stage of work to build 300 homes with 200 of them set to be finished before March 2018.
Waltham Forest has adopted Constructionline for the tender process and member firms will not have to fill out the full PQQ.
Up to ten firms will be invited to tender and applications must be made by August 20.
