The deal will see staff numbers rise to 450 at WJ as former Euromark employees join the enlarged business.
Scott Wardrop, Chief Executive Officer of Eurovia UK said: “This was a strategic decision for us to ensure even greater flexibility and programme delivery of road markings for our clients.
“We have been collaborating with WJ for some time and feel confident that the new arrangement will provide us with an effective and reliable service locally and nationally”.
Euromark GB services long term contracts for road markings to a national client base from the South of England to Scotland.
The acquisition provides WJ with a further thermoplastic production facility based in Bradford which will strengthen the materials supply capability of its growing operation.
Wayne Johnston, WJ Group Managing Director said: “This is good news for all with continued investment in research and development we can drive innovation and radically change the road marking industry to the benefit of all employed in the sector, our clients, road users and the communities within which we work”.
