The firm hopes the event will allow interested buyers to secure good deals on the equipment while their families enjoy a day at the park.

More than 300 equipment items are included in the auction, from known brands such as JCB, Komatsu, Manitou and Terex, covering equipment from diggers and dump trucks, to backhoes and telehandlers.

Anyone who registers to join the auction on-site as a bidder receives entrance to the park, where several attractions will be opened for the day, concluding with a fireworks display.

On auction day there will be a charity auction, supported by Ridgway Rentals and Hawk Plant Hire.

There are several items to be sold, for example, a child’s pedal tractor, a scale model of a Komatsu HD605 dump truck and an electric go kart.

Proceeds will go to The Lighthouse Club who provides aid to construction workers who have suffered an accident or illness.
