Hong Kong client Anquila Corporation chose BAM to deliver the substantial revamp of 63-65 Buckingham Gate against rivals Skanska and Mace.
The 230,000 sq ft project is situated at the edge of St James’s, close to Parliament and Westminster Abbey, and will be known as 1, 2 & 3 Buckingham Green once finished.
BAM was selected as preferred contractor for the design, procurement, construction and completion of three mixed-use buildings on the site, consisting of private residential, office and retail space.
The main tower will be stripped back and entirely re-clad to provide 65 high-end apartments and four floors of prime office space.
The Podium and annex building will provide office and retail space. Gardiner & Theobald is managing the job on behalf of Anquila Corporation, who are in turn represented by London & Oriental.
