Located immediately north of the V&A Museum of Design and opposite the new entrance to Dundee’s train station, the development will see the construction of 67 private rented flats and 50,000sq ft of office space, with the 120-bed hotel to be aimed at the upper end of the visitor market.
Derek Shewan, chief operating officer at Robertson said: “Dundee Waterfront is an exciting and innovative development project so we are naturally delighted to be selected as preferred developer for this exclusive, flagship development.”
The private rented sector element of the development will include one, two and three bedroom flats.
Earlier this week the Council also announced that Our Enterprise Investment has secured plot two at the site for a £20m scheme to create a Design and Innovation Quarter consisting of two new city blocks designed by the award-winning architects, HTA Design around a new city square.
