To speed construction of the 293-en-suite room block, the University aims to first appoint a firm for the £1.8m groundworks and basement element, and then a main building contractor for the remainder of the build and associated external works worth up to £20m.
Its planned post-graduate accommodation building will be constructed adjacent to the Polden Court accommodation on the main campus at Claverton Down.
This project is subject to obtaining planning and securing funding.
