Constructionline is organising its latest Meet the Buyer event on April 13 at Ipswich Town Football Club.
Confirmed public sector exhibitors at the event include Ipswich Borough Council, Suffolk County Council and the NHS London Procurement Partnership.
NHS London Procurement Partnership will be looking to attract suppliers for its dynamic purchasing system framework for minor work contracts valued up to £500,000 each.
Major contractors at the event will include Mears, Kier, and Wates.
The free event will run from 8.30am until 2pm. Suppliers do not have to be a Constructionline member to attend.
Edward James, Workstream Lead for Estates, Facilities and Professional Services, NHS London Procurement Partnership, said: “We are really looking forward to attending the event with Constructionline promoting our new DPS for minor building works.
“We have established the new system in collaboration with Constructionline and are keen to attract local SMEs to apply to be on the DPS which is available to all public sector contracting authorities across the country.”
Tim Probert, client relationship manager at Constructionline, said: “Our Meet the Buyer event at the Portman Road stadium will be a great opportunity for small firms to discover how they can pitch for upcoming work across a range of different projects.
“The home of the Tractor Boys is the ideal place for local businesses to gain an insight into the construction industry in the area and help clients to build strong, long-term supply chains.
“We’re very much looking forward to bringing everyone together and advising on how Constructionline can aid SMEs with the bidding process.”
