The City View scheme designed by architect Fletcher Rae will cost around £150m to build and consists of nearly 500 flats and 37 three-bed townhouses across the huge 600,000sq ft site

Warrington-based developer Vivere Group is planning the project on a corner plot at the junction of Oldfield Road and the A57 Regent Road, a busy commuter route linking Salford and Manchester.

If planning is approved, work will start in spring 2018.

Fletcher Rae’s Joint Managing Director, Andrew Rae, said the scheme would act as a gateway linking Manchester and Salford.

“This proposal is intended to repair the severed link that exists between these communities and developments and create a much needed activity node for movement between these key places in the city.”
