Over the last three years, the division operating mostly in London has grown from £40m to £60m within the main building services groups’ £180m overall turnover.
Now newly-named Briggs & Forrester Living will set its sights on £100m turnover by 2020.
It will continue to operate within its current specialist sectors of residential, hotels and student accommodation and to maintain and grow its London presence.
The firm will also follow the growing multi-storey residential and private rental market in Birmingham and the major northern cities.
A solid start has been made with £20m of work already secured for two build to rent projects, one at Angel Gardens in Manchester and the other at Sweet Street in Leeds.
These were secured on a track record built in London on major projects at One Blackfriars and Providence Tower and a 1,000-bed student accommodation facility for the UEA in Norwich.
Briggs and Forrester Living Managing Director Duncan Benedetti said: ”These changes are part of an exciting long term plan to develop our industry presence, continue to provide our sector specialism, delivering our profitable growth and providing more opportunity to our staff and supply chain as we focus on expansion for our business.”
