Portakabin has supplied three storeys of office and welfare space for McLaren Construction at its latest Wembley Park site.

Workers on the development site can now use almost 800m2 of welfare and office space.

McLaren is working for developer Quintain building 10-storey and 15-storey towers constructed which will include 490 build-to-rent units with associated common spaces, commercial office space and ground floor retail units.

Thirty welfare modules were carefully craned into place over just four days and will be in use for 120 weeks in total.

The space includes three large open plan offices, two meeting rooms, an induction room, bathroom facilities on each floor, two kitchenettes, a large canteen and professional kitchen plus a drying room and reception for visitors.

The white modular building, with black exterior staircases at either end, provides a clean, modern appearance for the iconic stadium site,

Karl Salter, Logistics Manager, McLaren Construction at Wembley Park said: ‘’We used Portakabin knowing we would receive a high level of service and the McLaren team on the Wembley projects were not let down.

“They provide great temporary office and welfare facilities finished to a very high standard and their customer service is excellent, from start to finish.

“The installation of the facilities was completed on time and in a very safe and professional manner, I can honestly say they exceeded our expectations here at Wembley. The team at Portakabin are a pleasure to work with, and I’m sure we will be working together again in the near future.’’

David Griffiths, General Manager at Portakabin added: “We worked closely with the McLaren team to achieve a solution that worked for them.

“Portakabin offers the highest quality site accommodation solutions and for a site and team of this prominence, quality and finish were most important.

“We were able to exceed that level of quality, delivering the building safely and quickly with minimal disruption.”
