Demolition has already been completed by Squibb Group and construction is expected to commence this month with completion scheduled for early 2021.
The development on a two-acre site on Toft Green will comprise of 127 apartments, 34,500 sq ft of offices, 5,000 sq ft of commercial space plus car parking.
The new office building will be the first of its size to be built speculatively in York City Centre for more than 20 years.
